An amazing tool to have on a long trip to Europe. I tried it with several different SIM cards from both Ireland and Spain, and our group had Internet wherever we were. The battery life was fantastic. Very reliable, and very useful.

I used it in Italy and it was very helpful in between wifi stops! I used it mainly to have GPS for nav on my iphone when driving. I could have rented a nav, or used my own network, but the cost would have been the same, and I can now use this on future trips as well!

This mobile hotspot is fantastic! I just used I a trip to Italy with a TIM prepaid SIM card and was able to stay very well conected, 4G in many places sharing connection between my iPhone, iPad, MacBook and my wife's iPhone too . The app is very useful to control usage.

Big help during my overseas travel. I used this on LTE coverage on the Philippines so that I don't have to use roaming data. Charged every night to ensure all day coverage next day.

For someone on the road and working digitally this was a life saver. I havent used it all the time as I have access to wifi a lot but I enjoy the freedom it provides and the fact that I can work even from the park if I feel like it. I used it in Europe so far and pleased with it

Great item! Helps a lot for traveling and very secure connection as it's your own connection rather than sharing on public wifi sometimes your search engine doesn't allow you to use the public one. Battery works great lasts whole day. No regret! :)

Nikon AF-S DX Micro-NIKKOR 40mm f/2.8G Close-up Lens for Nikon DSLR Cameras

Nikon AF-S DX Micro-NIKKOR 40mm f/2.8G Close-up Lens for Nikon DSLR Cameras

Nikon AF-S DX Micro-NIKKOR 40mm f/2.8G Close-up Lens for Nikon DSLR Cameras

Overall, I love this lens. I would say I'm probably an advanced beginner at photography. I am still using my first DSLR (Nikon D3300) and this was the first lens I bought aside from the two that I got with the camera. 40mm is a great focal length for an all purpose lens. This lens may not be quite as fast as the 35mm 1.8, but it is still very capable everything most people would be doing (excluding very low light photography without flash). It's a versatile lens which allows you to get closer than most other lenses will allow, which is something I can really appreciate! I would recommend this lens for someone who, like me, is interested in macro photography, but doesn't yet want to make the large financial commitment needed when buying one of the more dedicated macro lenses. I decided on this one, after extensive research, over one of the more expensive macro lenses because it made more sense for me to test the waters before going all out and buying an expensive macro lens. You've got to get quite close to the subject in order to get 1:1 magnification and run a risk of casting a shadow, but it's still possible to get some pretty cool pictures if you experiment with it.

If you're deciding between this lens and the 35mm 1.8 and have any interest in dabbling in macro photography, get this lens! If you're more than a little interested in macro photography (and on a budget), but would also like a good all purpose lens, I'd also say this would be a good lens for you. If you want to do extensive macro work, you probably don't even need to read this review to know you'll need a more expensive, dedicated macro lens.

I only had this lens a few months before my camera bag was stolen, along with it this lens. How over in the short amount of time I learned to love this lens.

Good Glass is what it's all about and I have to say this lens has it. Okay this lens has a razor thin depth of field and at times gave to work around that. It does create issues for novice shutterbugs when shooting macro. In the end any Photographer worth their salt can overcome that.

The Bokhe on this lens is amazing, making it a dream for portrait photography, and with it being a macro lens I've found that it is just the ticket when shooting babies. I was able to get in for close ups and not have to crop at all.

Ive used it for Macro - Street photography - Portrait and Wedding Photography for the short time I had it and I don't mind saying I had a blast shooting with with lens and will get it again soon.

At f/2.8 it is not the best lowlight lens for shooting in clubs and events. Still it's it's no slouch and better then the kit lens's.

And on top of that, where else can you find a macro / micro lens to play with for under $300.00 Honestly for the price I have not found a lens in it's range that makes this great of a general purpose walk around prime lens.

This is an excellent lens for the price. While I would hesitate to call it a true macro just due to working distance, it is certainly up to the job of macro. I use this much more often as a portraiture lens, where it excels rather well! I also tend to leave it on as a general purpose lens, unless I need a wider field than I can get by walking back in small spaces. The auto-focus is fast and very quiet when turned to it's limited 0.2m-infinity range. It sometimes will hunt for awhile to bring in a macro shot when working in the full auto-focus range. Fortunately, since the manual focus can be adjusted at any time, get the focus close then let the auto-focus do it's job.

I have been doing photography for a couple of years, and wanted to try some macro photography out. Now macro lenses are expensive, so when I found this I was a bit leery of what the quality would be at such a low price. Well this is my most used lens now. It has super clarity, even great for portraits. Only issue is that you have to get so close to your subject that anything living will normally move once your up in its face. I love this lens, If you want a cheep, yet great macro, check this one out.

Just because I think it helps to see where this fits in my collection, here's my progression of lens buying...
Camera: D7000

1st Lens: 18-200mm - A jack of all trades but master of none. My most-used lens, but wanted something faster that could do shallow DOF at closer distances.

2nd Lens: 50mm 1.8D - Figured I could take advantage of the D7000 being able to use this cheaper non-G lens. Also, due to having a manual aperture ring, allowed me to use it with basic macro tubes. While I got decent results with the macro tubes, they were clunky to use and were prone to ghosting if the sun caught them the wrong way. Also, while it did the job for good indoor low light performance at f1.8, I often found 50mm a bit too tight on my DX body.

3rd Lens: I was between the 35mm 1.8G and this 40mm 2.8G... I went with this one and I'm glad I did. While it's not going to come close to a 105mm VR (if I could afford one now) for insect photography, it's functional in this task as long as the subject isn't *super* jittery. While everyone says you wind up using manual focus/camera moving for macro, being able to let the AF get you "close" before fine-tuning in manual was a huge help for things like butterflies when they might only be in one spot for a few seconds (when compared to non-electronic macro tubes). For a sample of such shots, I have a few in the customer images.

For non-macro work, I feel that this can do 90% of the same things the 35mm 1.8 could have, and for those situations where I need that extra 1 stop more light/shallower DOF, I have my 50mm 1.8. And truth be told, the D7000 does so well at high ISO, I can often compensate by upping that and still be happy with the results.

Within a year or two I fully intend to own a 105mm 2.8 VR macro... but this lens was a great way to stave off that craving for under $300 instead of spending $900. And even once I own the 105, I don't see this lens going anywhere... it's great for larger objects like flowers or product shots, as well as it's general prime use, and much easier to carry than a 105.

Was very impressed on this Nikon 40mm Lens. At first i was a little upset but then i played with the settings and boom happy. I use it to take close up pictures with my Live Coral that i sell online. Gotta get closer then i 60 or 105mm but for the price it was def worth the purchase. I have already made the money back the first weekend selling coral and got kudos on the photos. Def a great deal and purchase. I went to bestbuy to buy it being it was same price, of course the multi million dollar company didnt have it in stock so i bought this from the parking lot and had it the next day! Kudos. Fast Shipping, Great Product, I have included some photos of my corals.

Im a newbie to DSLR's. I finally gave in when my Nikon FM2 bit the dust. Been shooting flim since I can remember so I'm not new to photography, just the principples of digital.
This is my first (and won't be the last) prime lens for my D3300. This far outshines the two kit lenses. You can feel just by picking it up that it's a better build. I've only been messing around with it this afternoon but I can immediately see the potential. I was having a hard time deciding between the 35mm and 50 mm f1.8 Nikon prime lenses when I came across this little gem. It's roughly $100 to $80 more but it does macro, yhe other two don't. This will be my primary lens untill my 35mm f1.8 arrives. Nice and sharp, guick auto focus, DX format, good depth of field, 250 bucks!
I recommend this lens to all the DX users out there, you won't be disappointed.

The first non kit lens that I have owned. The difference is amazing. Love the bokeh, but mainly use this for photographing my art work, which can range from 12 x 12" to 4' x 5', there is no barrel distortion and the images crisp and clear.

I've had this this lens about a week and so far I absolutely love it. I wasn't sure at first how much I would use it so I hesitated to buy it at first. I'm so glad I did. I was lucky enough to get it for under $200 and I'd say it's worth more than that. The glass is spectacular. The images are just magnificent. You can use it for macro photography And you won't be disappointed. It's a great point and shoot kind of lens too... I just didn't have an example pic of that to share. Maybe I can update later. Just love this lens. Such a great buy and definitely a lens I needed in my kit. Don't hesitate, buy it!

I'm an all around photographer whose interest is in photographing whatever captures my eye. It could be portraits, landscapes, florals, art, and wildlife. For the last year or so, I've been interested in getting a macro lens for my Nikon D7000. I've read many reviews on the Nikkor 40mm Micro and decided to give it a try. The price was within my budget.

I ordered this lens two weeks ago and have been using it non-stop with wonderful results. I've set aside my 18-200mm, 35mm, and 50mm lens. That's how good this 40mm lens is.

I received this micro lens in time to capture the early Spring flowers. This 40mm micro lens does a great job capturing close-ups of flowers and plants. My pictures are coming out sharp and clear. Do you hear a "wow" from me?

I have taken a close-up picture of my Citizen watch with no flash. Another wow! I've included a picture in the gallery.

This lens also does a great job in capturing non-macro shots. I've used this lens indoors with no flash and have captured some amazing low-light pictures. Yep, another wow!

There is no VR on this lens. Not necessary to have as this lens is lightweight and with much practice, hand held shots are easy to take. For low-light photography, I do recommend using a monopod or tripod with this lens. Reality check: you can only hand hold a camera for so long before you get some camera shake and resulting blurred pictures. As I get older, I've come to the realization that I can no longer hold the camera perfectly still.

For macro shots, I primarily shoot in Aperture mode. I've found my sweet spot to be around f/4 and f/8. For normal shots, I tend to switch between Program and Aperture modes.

I use the included lens hood 100% of the time. Within the first few hours of using this lens, I accidently bumped the front lens against the door. Good thing I had my hood on. Lesson well learned.

Need proof? I have posted two floral pictures (Pink dogwood and helleborous) along with the photo of my watch in the photo gallery. Seeing is believing.

This is a great fixed lens that does double duty for macro and normal shots. I'm glad I trusted the reviews and my instinct and purchased this incredible lens.

** Update 06/16/12 **

This lens has been on my D7k for last several weeks. I've added another picture of a spider on a yellow daylily. It should be on page 6 in the gallery. For this picture I used my compact SB-400 flash as the picture was taken during the late evening hours. I'm enjoying this lens!

I think most, if not all, of the negative reviews talking about issues with auto focus have been user error. This is not exactly a point and shoot camera. The main thing that's easy to overlook is that you have to hold the shutter button down halfway until the square on the screen turns green, then you push it the rest of the way down. If you don't do that, the AF doesn't work as intended. If a standard point and shoot is what you're looking for, you probably won't love this camera. But if you don't mind learning how to play with the settings a bit and recognize that its a learning process, this camera is capable of really amazing pictures. I definitely didn't want something too complicated, but I wanted more than a point and shoot, and this is a nice compromise, especially for the price. Of course I'm sure its not going to produce the quality of the more expensive DSLR cameras, but I'm not a pro, I just want decent pictures of my son that my generic Android smart phone can't produce, and this more than fits the bill. And like I said, I wasn't impressed with the point and shoot cameras in my price range, especially with a fast moving toddler in a variety of scenes. I needed something with more customizable features and this camera fits my needs exactly.

Takes great photos. Has a decent size screen. Wide screen so you can get more in the photo. Has a nice trip to hold it. I recommend a tripod for better photo quality. Comes with neck strap and a lens cap and a USB to plug it into your laptop. I can edit photos too. Has a bunch of scene modes. Even one for dogs and cats. Can take video.

This is a very nice camera for the price. It is well made, works well, and is easy to operate but standard alkaline do not last very long. Be sure to carry extra batteries with you especially if you intend to record very many videos.

Was a Christmas present for our daughter and she loves it! I'm a little jealous because I want one now. Great little camera for the money!

Got for my boss because he starts to get shaky when he doesn't eat. This camera stabilizes and picture comes out good.

iSYFIX SIM Card Adapter Nano Micro - Standard 4 in 1 Converter Kit With Steel Tray Eject Pin

iSYFIX SIM Card Adapter Nano Micro - Standard 4 in 1 Converter Kit With Steel Tray Eject Pin

iSYFIX SIM Card Adapter Nano Micro - Standard 4 in 1 Converter Kit With Steel Tray Eject Pin

This set includes an adapter to use a nano SIM in a phone that requires a micro SIM, one to use a nano SIM in a phone designed for a mini SIM, and one to use a micro SIM in a phone designed for a mini SIM. It also includes a pinhole-ejection tool to release the SIM card tray in the newer smartphones. So no matter how old your GSM phone is, this set will adapt the newest generation of SIM card to the previous two generations' sizes, micro and mini.

I am currently using the adapter in my older phone so I can send back my defective newer device for exchange, so I have my nano SIM working perfectly in my micro SIM-based phone. Without this kit, I would have had to go back to my wireless provider's office to activate a micro SIM and then go back yet again to activate another nano SIM after I get my new device replaced.

If your active phone uses a nano SIM but you want to switch to an older device, this is the kit you need. It will save you the time and trouble of dealing with your wireless provider.

Absolutely does what it's supposed to do. We bought our kid an older cell phone -because I don't believe a smart phone is necessary at this age when there are tablets at home and phones are really just for communication. The phone we got is nearly 10 years old (starting basic... Remember having to push 4 several times to just say "hi" over a text?). The sim cards now are all micro and nano and don't fit in older phones so we bought this adapter set.
I received an email with instructions on how to use it and troubleshoot prior to the package getting here so I was able to read up and it was really useful.
I did end up using the tiniest drop of glue as suggested to keep the nano SIM inside the adapter. When it comes time to upgrade the phone, I have no doubt I'll be able to salvage the sim still.
All in all, I'm thrilled to have found a reasonable amd super affordable fix to our problem. Thanks!

This fits nicely into my phone. I really needed a Nano to Micro SIM adaptor because I was feeling nostalgic and wanted to use my old phone. The only thing is that my sim card doesn't snap into the adapter, making it a bit more complicated to put in my phone. I had one that allowed the sim card to snap in and was easier to handle, other than that, it gets the job done perfectly.

Galaxy S7 died so needed a way to get my S5 running until it's repaired. Used the nano to micro adapter and it worked great. Was a total PITA trying to hold the sim in from underneath(adapter has plastic on top to increase thickness) while getting it in the slot, so take your time and use a tool if necessary. Not a fault of the product, just dealing with tiny stuff and bad angles. The sim slot tool was all I needed to push the card back into the adapter during installation.

I ordered this so that I can use my nano SIM on my iPhone 8 to a Samsung Galaxy S3 which uses micro SIM. I just wanted to compare the Speedtest on my iPhone 8 and my old GS3. The result was almost identical. Now, I don't have use for this multi SIM adapter but I'd say I'm satisfied with my purchase and the nano to micro adapter worked well.

What's to say? Perfect kit to test any cellphone with any SIM card. Surprisingly durable for being so cheap. I've tested easily 100+ phones using the kit over the past year. Has not cracked or worn out. Be gentle and patient and buy you a pair of tweezers to help removal when the phone has a non ejectable tray (like a Galaxy S5)

This item was packaged well, and arrived when expected. This package comes with three different adapter plates. It worked well. It was also very convenient that they graciously included a steel 'ejection pin'. I had lost my previously one and the one provided works great.
I would recommend this item for anyone needing to adapt their nano SIM to one of the other sizes.

Received the order within 24 hours. My new nano sim snapped into the small adapter frame perfectly to give me a micro sim. Needed to use micro sim in older phone for about 10 minutes to back-up WhatsApp. Removed from old phone, removed from adapter frame, put nano sim back in new phone and restored WhatsApp in new phone. Saved adapter back in the package for another time. Mission accomplished. Very useful little tool.

Snug fit and holds the SIM card in place. I only used the smallest adapter and liked mine so much I bought another for my wife. The SIM slot on my phone (Moto G4 Play) is very close to the battery compartment so using a bit of the two sided tape on the back of the SIM card I was able to secure it to the adapter. Doing this keeps the SIM card from slipping from the adapter when fitting it into the slot.

Not much to say here, I had an emergency with my Galaxy phone (first time I'm ever experienced LCD bleeding and it covered my entire screen in less that 15 hours) so I had to jump back to an old phone, the Moto Razr V3 to be exact, until I could get a replacement. I was able to pop my sim in the adapter and boom, it's like it was 2005 all over again!

Sony SELP1650 16-50mm Power Zoom Lens (Silver, Bulk Packaging)

Sony SELP1650 16-50mm Power Zoom Lens (Silver, Bulk Packaging)

Sony SELP1650 16-50mm Power Zoom Lens (Silver, Bulk Packaging)

This is the most useful "kit" lens for my camera, the Sony A6000. I broke the original SELP1650 that I got with my camera when I dropped it. The few weeks that I was without it really made me appreciate the lens. I leave it on my camera all the time, especially when I want to travel light. I also have the 50mm prime and the longer kit zoom, 55-210. The SELP1650 by far gets the most use. When I carry my camera around for "street" shots, it is ready for anything. This lens is the most versatile and handy to carry. Many of the A6000 accessories (cases and underwater housings) are made to fit the camera with this particular lens attached. The lens performs extremely well and is really inexpensive. Get it bundled with your camera or as "international packaging", you will save quite a bit. I have a small collection of 49mm filters. I got a cheap 40.5mm to 49mm step up adapter so I can just use the same set on the SELP1650.

I’m glad I didn’t listen to all of the negative reviews. This is exactly what I wanted. The lens that came with my Sony A5000 suddenly stopped working. Everywhere I search this lens was bundled with everything I didn’t want or need and the price was over $200. Then I came across this. The lens was neatly packed in bubble wrap, put into a small box, and then shipped in a bubble envelope. It included the the lens cap and storage cover. No frills and no additional crap at the perfect price point. The lens works great and exactly like the original. Oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention fast shipping cuz it came the next day I ordered it. I’m a happy customer!

Funny how the kit lens for Sony's NEX-6 is one of the best zooms for the buck that you can get for Sony's compact E-mount cameras. This is also, I believe, the packed-in lens for the A6000, A6300 and A6500. That this lens has both a twist ring and a sliding switch that both control zoom by default is also a minor source of annoyance. However, the twisting ring can also serve double duty as a focus ring by changing a setting on the camera — at least, that's how it works on the old NEX-6. Image stabilization almost, but doesn't quite, make up for pretty mediocre low light performance, but it does buy a bit of wiggle room with the shutter speed.

Finding good filters for the 40.5mm threads is tricky, but this is a flexible and compact lens that I never leave home without and I'm usually pleased with my pictures.

Got this lens for an original NEX-5, since it was purchased without one. I have used a kit lens from another NEX camera on this NEX-5. Sharpness is very similar between this pancake lens and kit lens. Size of this 16-50mm is just a tad over half of a kit lens. Widths between the two are about the same. This pancake lens is almost the size of 16mm f2.8 prime, only 4mm longer. Keep in mind when this lens gets powered up, it extends to nearly double it's length. Not a problem for me. On older NEX's like original 5 & 3, there is a great bit of vignetting in the corners at the widest end of this lens. That's a reasonable tradeoff for having a very wide angle. Some people, who do extensive measuring of lenses, say this lens is more like 14.7mm lens then a 16mm, but on compatible NEX's like NEX-6, the final image is slightly cropped to eliminate corner vignetting, which brings the image back to about 16mm wide. There is also some moderate distorsion, especially at the widest algles. Overall I'm very happy with this lens, since positives far outweigh the negatives for me. I would encourage anyone looking at 16mm prime to save some $ & get this instead. ⅔ faster aperture is not worth being stuck at 16mm all the time, and this has OSS (Sony's optical image stabilizer), which the prime does not. Hoping Sony will make more pancake lenses in the future!

Fabulous! My original lens dropped and was stuck in zoom mode, so I had to find a reasonably priced replacement that wouldn't break the bank. This did the job!
I ordered a few days before leaving on a trip and it arrived safely and on-time. Everything is still working perfectly.

Description

The Sony 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS Alpha E-mount Retractable Zoom Lens is a retractable zoom lens with a focal length range of 24-75mm in the 35mm format equivalency. It covers shooting lengths from true wide angle to standard portrait length and is a great day-to-day type lens, especially since its unique retractability keeps it very compact. When powered on, the lens expands, but in its off position the lens is only 1.2" (30mm) which will fit in your pocket. When expanded, it has a surprisingly large zoom range and access to its dual-function control ring for manual focus and zooming. Its Power Zoom capability in AF mode and Internal Stepping Motor provide, fast, smooth and quiet autofocus which is helpful when shooting video with this lens.
The lens is a Sony E-mount lens that is compatible not only with the NEX cameras but also with the NEX Handycam Camcorders. The built-in Optical SteadyShot image stabilization system reduces the effect of camera shake which is particularly problematic when tracking moving subjects in video or shooting photos in low-light. The OSS provides approximately 4-stops of shutter speed correction to help create blur-free images no matter the shooting conditions. Four Aspherical elements and one ED element correct for curved perspective at wide-angle lengths and chromatic aberration at telephoto lengths to provide sharp, high contrast imaging across the entire frame.

Nice lens. No paperwork for lens. May be Gray market as it was "bulk packed". None the less, it works perfectly. Good replacement for the kit lens that came with my Sony A6000 and failed (camera would not "recognize" the lens when installed) just as it was out of warranty. (my other lenses worked fine). Sony quoted me $156.00 to INSPECT it once I sent it to an authorized repair facility !! Paid about the same for this new one and got it in just a couple days!! Thanks.

It's even lighter than I hoped it would be and can focus on multiple points. It zooms and has optical zoom as well, and my photos came out just as sharp, detailed, and richly colored as with my other lenses. It's even easy to fit it for a lens hood and manually fine tune. This is an authentic Sony lens that was safely shipped to me, albeit it without the original packing. But it certainly arrived brand new with both lens caps. I'm in love with this lens.

I know there's a certain amount of risk to purchasing items that don't have the manufacturer's warranty (such as this lens), but as long as you return it immediately should there be anything wrong with it, I don't see why anyone would ever buy the version with the manufacturer's warranty. Sure if it goes bad in a year or two, I may regret it, but often times warranties expire before then anyways. Get this one over the full priced one; I'm very happy with the amount of money I saved and the quality of this lens.

I used to replace my 18/55 kit lens and it did the job well. Not sure it can fit in jeans pocket but its a lot lighter and more compact. Now I can blend in with the pretend hipsters with their little point and shoot because the kit lens was social suicide.

Packaging wise I got mine in a mess. It seemed to be used or just not cared for. No dings or anything the front and rear of the lens were just filthy but it cleaned up well and works.

Works just like my kit lens did! (It got broken so I had to replace it) It looks only a little bit funny because it's silver and not black, but for a several hundred dollar difference, I would pick this lens any day over the black one. I love my Sony Nex-6 and this lens! Great for taking a variety of pictures in a variety of settings that look way more professional than any of the other non-professional cameras I've had in the past.

Windy City Novelties 13" Rainbow Umbrella Hat for Adults and Kids

Windy City Novelties 13" Rainbow Umbrella Hat for Adults and Kids

Windy City Novelties 13

For anyone who is as unconcerned about looking like a walking hot dog stand as I am and just wants to be hands free, then, I recommend this, which is so funny but functional that you will have shade and a good laugh to yourself (and maybe others) all while saying "look ma, no hands!". Slightly goofy looking, but serves a good purpose. I'm all about hands free, so if you're of a like mind, go for it. Fits into most handbags, like a click umbrella.

I got this for a sunshade while working in the garden, I get a few laughs from the Grandkids when I put it on but after a while, they wanted to wear it. I was quite surprised how light and comfortable it is. You have to pay close attention to line up the plastic pin to the apex of the umbrella when you open it. It is a little difficult to reset if you miss aligning the pin. You also have to give the plastic pin a good tug to collapse.
Other than that it does what you expect it to do.
If you don't abuse it, it should last for a good season or more.
For the price, I'm pleased with the product.

I purchased this as a gag gift. The office I work in had major leaks this spring and matters only got worse when the roof repair started. My boss was running back and forth with buckets to catch the water. He made a joke about working with an umbrella, so I found this as part of his birthday gift. He absolutely loved it. Walked around with it on for a few days laughing and joking. On an even funnier note, a customer visiting the office liked it so much he went right online and purchased one as well.

This is a great way to garden & keep the sun off one's head. It also sparks comments from the neighbors, "where did you find it?" Only problem is that the band around the head is not adjustable & the rubber was too tight. Had to remove after just a few minutes. Perhaps could cut & insert a piece to loosen.

Perfect! Used it as a dress up for my sons character book day.

13" Rainbow Umbrella Hat

Good quality gag item.
It might have a practical use but I am not sure what that would be. Fishing??
It provided a lot of laughs at a golf tournament where everyone was using their special "tricks" to ward off any rain.

I love this product! It's very comfortable to wear plus it keeps the sun off of you. We use them when we're fishing and it works perfect. We even get from other people, " Why didn't we think of that" and I just smile. I do wish there was a way to keep them on a little better when the wind blows.

I expected to receive a ridiculous $5 umbrella hat but what I received was at least a $10 umbrella hat. This thing is great. I find myself using it much more frequently than I probably should

Everything was as described. I covered this hat with fabric for a costume ... yes, I, a grown woman, went out in public as R2D2. And it was awesome! :) The hat would work great uncovered, too! It would be awesome as a gardening hat - what's nice is that it offers shade while remaining up off your head.

My little one takes this in her school bag and wears it on a rainy day when she comes back from school to my car. I use it too sometimes, for an emergency rain situation. Good Product.

DSLR Camera Backpack Bag by Altura Photo for Camera, Lenses, Laptop/Tablet and Photography Accessories (The Great Explorer)

DSLR Camera Backpack Bag by Altura Photo for Camera, Lenses, Laptop/Tablet and Photography Accessories (The Great Explorer)

DSLR Camera Backpack Bag by Altura Photo for Camera, Lenses, Laptop/Tablet and Photography Accessories (The Great Explorer)

Holy smokes, this is an awesome bag for the money! I got the Wanderer and it fits all my gear perfectly, is fairly comfortable to wear with 15lbs of gear, and looks very streamlined to boot.

I'm a 5'5" female so I wanted something cute that would hold all my stuff and not overwhelm me; this fits the bill so perfectly that I have retired my $200 camera purse (which was a pain in the neck, literally!)

Gear list:
-Canon 5D
-50mm, 85mm, 100mm, 28-130mm, 70-300mm lenses
-flash
-lightosphere
-plus extra batteries, charger, cf cards, cf reader, folded reflector, and the front pocket is still empty to toss in my keys/wallet/cell phone.

I seriously can't recommend this enough!

I bought this bag for a trip to Alaska. After reviewing A LOT of camera bags I pulled the trigger and purchased this one and am glad I did.

This bag held my Nikon D500, Tamron 150-600mm G2, Tamron 70-200mm G2, Sigma 17-55mm along with batteries, chargers and memory cards as well as a tablet. This bag was seriously weighted down and I was concerned about the seams. No worries, the bag held up like a champ and was comfortable to wear. I'm a big guy @ 6'0" 300 lbs and the straps fit fine.

If you are on the fence, purchase this bag. Great value for the features.

I really want to love this bag. It is well designed and fits my needs exactly. I am using it to carry my itx computer to and from work and I plan to use it as a carry-on to fly with the computer. I wanted a durable, protective but compact backpack I could securely and comfortably carry my build in.

Comfortable... Check.
Secure... Check.
Compact... Check.
Protective... Check.
Durable...ehhh.

The main canvas-like material the bag is made from seems to be holding up ok for the week and a half I've been using it. It seems like pretty decent quality. The top seams on the straps however look to be a little overmatched to the weight of my components and I've begun to use the handle at the top as much as possible. The straps haven't broke or anything but when grabbed by one strap to pull the bag on my shoulders the stitching pulls and I'm not convinced it's not going to fail.

When on my back, the bag feels great. Cushions are supportive and well placed, and the weight distribution is wonderful.

The purple zipper lining throughout the bag is complete garbage however. There is no other way to describe it. It's sewed on with the weakest stitching I've ever seen and it frays with the slightest touch. Zipper catch? Massive fray. Velcro strap touch it? Rips off and frays to the point of failure. I've started to burn the frays its gotten so bad, just to keep it under control. I even ran my finger over it to brush something off and it frayed. No joke.

I really want to keep this bag and it's a testament to how great everything else about the bag is that I haven't sent it back for the inside seam liner. I'll update this review if anything changes. It's really too bad about the zipper lining because everything else is good to excellent quality.

*Update*

Customer service contacted me and was willing to find a way to resolve my issues with the bag. They also made it known my complaints were forwarded to the manufacturer which made me feel like my opinion was valued. Hopefully they will improve the material used for the lining in the future.

I am still using the same bag i ordered despite the shortcomings of the lining. I occasionally have to get out a lighter and melt the frays down to keep them from getting worse but it looks like the issue is only bad in areas where it comes in contact with the zipper or heaven forbid, Velcro. It has otherwise performed great on a daily basis and I'm not willing to junk this one just because of the lining when it fits my needs perfectly.

*Update*

I have changed my review to 5 stars based both on the customer service I experienced, and the fact I clearly received a defective bag. I was sent a replacement bag and was able to compare the lining material of both. It's obvious the first bag's lining I was shipped is inferior. I tried to stick the Velcro strap on both, the first instantly snagged and was destroyed when I pulled the Velcro off. The second resisted the Velcro and never snagged.

By far the best customer service I've ever experienced and now this bag has no short comings. I love it. Thank you.

You won't go wrong purchasing this camera bag. It is truly perfect for my needs. It holds more than I anticipated. I brought it on vacation and fit a DSLR with a 150-600mm lens attached along with 2 other cameras (1 mirrorless & 1 Bridge camera) 4 extra lenses, batteries, 2 battery chargers, and other accessories. I brought it on on boat trip where we got soaked, and the waterproof cover certainly came in handy and did its job. The removable inserts are very adjustable to accommodate whatever you have to put in there. There is also compartments on the front and side of this bag with a cleaver holder for a tripod. i haven't used it all that much, but it seems to be really sturdy. I had a lot of weight in this bag and the handles held up fine. The thing I like the most about this bag is that is was able to fit my 150-600mm lens inside the bag while it was still attached to the camera. I am including a photo so you can see how much stuff fits in this bag. I ordered the black with purple and I am happy with the color too :)

***Update 9/27/2018***
So I was contacted by Digital Goja and they were nice enough to send a new backpack out to me. They have +A customer service! I hope the new bag last longer then the last one. It could have been part of a bad batch. I bumped my review back up to 4 stars as its a great bag but my have problems. Will update again if I have anymore issues with the new one.

This bag is nice but I have only had it 5 months and its falling apart. The top of the bag when the straps attach is detaching from the main bag and you can see inside it. I had to stop using it because I am afraid it will fail and all my camera gear will fall out. I am not ruff with the bag and only use it on the weekends when I travel to where I am taking pictures that day.

I spent some time searching for a bag for my trip to Costa Rica. I wanted something that was durable, would carry my most important photography gear, and could be a carryon bag for my flight. This did not disappoint. Since my gear was somewhat heavy, I paid particular attention to the point where the backpack straps are sewn into the top of the bag. I walked miles with this bag up mountains, through towns, and along beaches. It held up perfectly and shows no sign of weakening or wear. I was able to get all of the following into the bag:

Canon EOS 6D Camera
Canon 24-105mm full frame lens
Canon 50 mm 1.8 lens
Rokinon 14mm wide angle lens
2 batteries and charger
UV lenses, Intervalometer, SD card holder, etc

DJI Mavic Air drone
Remote
3 drone batteries with charger
Case of ND filters

RavPower 26800 portable charger

Apple MacBook
Apple charger cable

Really impressed, and have no regrets buying.

I originally ordered the wanderer backpack for a two week trip to Europe. I was torn between the wanderer and the larger great explorer because I wanted to keep the size and weight down so it could be used as a carry-on while being able to take all my gear. The wanderer was just too small so I ordered the great explorer with the thought of returning the wanderer. The larger bag was large enough to carry my Nikon D5200 with stock lens plus a 70-200, a 90mm macro and all my filters and misc chargers and such with plenty of room to spare. I ended up keeping both bags because the wanderer is perfect for a walk in the park or family function. Following is a description of each bag.

The wanderer is light weight and slim in profile. There is no waist belt but it does have a sternum strap, a small zippered pocket large enough for a few batteries and means to strap on a tripod. It seems well built and is comfortable for a smaller load even with me being a larger guy at 6'-0", 225lbs.

The great explorer bag is far more robust to handle the weight of more gear. It has a nice waist strap and a wider and more cushioned shoulder straps with a sternum strap. There are plenty of external storage pockets with a large front zippered pocket for an iPad and misc small items, a second small zippered front pocket, a good-size side zippered pocket for batteries and filters, a side mesh pocket and a place to secure a tripod. It even comes with a rain cover. The only odd thing with this bag is the main compartment that hold your valuables is against your back whch means it has to be taken off to change lenses. Of course with all the extra compartments and waist belt it gets heavy when filled. It was small enough to use as a carry-on (except for the smaller commuter jet which forced me to check it at the gate). Like its smaller brother, it seems well made and it held up well on this trip.

Great bag for the money.

This backpack has a very clean design.. not a lot of pockets/zippers, etc but it is plenty large to hold all of my gear and the construction is very strong. A few reviews spoke of the seams being weak and the straps too weak or unpadded. Mine is well sewn and the straps have reasonable padding and strong nylon straps. I carry a DSLR body, two long lenses, a 50mm prime lens, a Canon ex430 speedlight flash, several extra batteries, a video camera, chargers for everything and a pile of small accessories. There is still extra room for more stuff! If I had any complaint it would be that I wish the zippers all around had string/loop zipper pulls. I am going to drill the zipper pulls and add my own but it would have been nice if they came that way. Also, although there are a few pockets (fewer than I expected) the pockets are pretty deep so if you dump a bunch of small items into the pockets you should plan on fishing to get the thing you are looking for. The main pocket inside is at least transparent/plastic so you can see what you are looking for. The tripod strap and fold down pouch is pretty cool and the entire inside of the case can be reconfigured. I turned mine around so the camera with a large lens attached sits on the bottom of the pack, for weight distribution. It comes with the padding for the body to be on top... I suppose you could get your camera out quicker on the top but I am rarely in a hurry and having the weight at the bottom of the pack helps the pack stand up more stable. No camera bag is perfect for every situation but I like this one.

Spaciously attractive and durable daily camera backpack. I bought this bag for my daily work carry of go pros, 13' mac, bamboo tablet, two lenses, accessories, and my Mirrorless camera.
It has plenty of space for all of it and feels very padded/secure.
I like the strong tripod holder and extra pocket space on the outside.
The zippers are big and strong, unlike the cheap bags.
Has loop holes on the shoulders for extra carabiner stuff and a chest buckle strap.
The purple and black also is a nice touch.

Great day back for work and adventuring, not to bulky

This bag is great. I returned the smaller sling bag to something larger and got this one.

Well made, everything is secure and feels sturdy. All the velcro dividers are clean with good stitching. They install well and hold their location. Placement is easy, they don't really snag as you install them as there is enough flex/give in the walls to allow you to place them exactly where you want.

I was able to store the following:
1. D7100 with battery grip and 50mm prime lens w/hood.
2. D40 w/ 35-55mm lens
3. 70-300mm telephoto zoom
4. 55-200mm telephoto
5. 500mm manual lens with 2x converter

The mid-middle between the two camera bodies and I had about a 4" open "bay". I filled it with the extra dividers and my glare hood for the 300mm lens. Plenty of room in this backpack.

I was able to stow my Macrem tripod easily on the side sleeve/strapped carrying pocket. I broke it down to just a monopod, but can take the fill tripod if i needed to. My cleaning kit, power cord for battery charger and other misc gear was fit inside the main pocket. There is room for 2 tablets to store as well, front and back have a interior pouch for these if you need it.

I tried it on and it is comfortable. I've traveled all over the world with backpacks (never with photography gear), but it feels the same. I have maybe 10-15lbs of gear fully loaded, and I usually travel with a 20-25lb carry on, so this will be a breeze when I finally get to just go hiking with my camera gear.

Small mesh/elastic pouch opposite of the tripod, so it can easily fit a large water bottle or similar sized piece of gear, or just a quick place to stash something you may need to grab later on.

The only "con" I would have to give it is maybe a few extra little sections on the outside to help sort the misc gear, but that is not a show-stopper by any means. The bag looks clean without a lot of straps and buckles dangling everywhere, so it is nice trade-off.

Great Bag!!

Before purchasing this item, I would recommend trying your hand at a free solution for opening your phone's micro SD slot. People have had success using paper clips, needles, hair pins, etc. to eject the slot. I wasn't able to open my phone's slot with a paper clip, so I resorted to this ejector tool.

While I definitely didn't need 10 of these tools, I still needed one since I had lost the original ejector tool for my Samsung Galaxy S7.

It worked perfectly, and I was finally able to open my phone's micro SD slot.

10 out of ten would recommend. My GOD if you've ever used sim pins(tm) before. FORGET ALL THAT YOU KNOW ABOUT THEIR WEAK SAUCE LAME DUCKERY! These pins are made of the finest Elvin nickel aluminum alloy reinforced by not only ancient Dwarven ruins but blessed with the kiss of a giants tear as the sun emerges from the darkened night. There is no telling what phone Sim Card or memory card or even piece of salad caught in your teeth before that big meeting, good call Jacob you got it, is safe from these fine Sim Pin Pokers (tm). But be warned... there are many who would see these mighty Pin Poking Penetrators(tm) destroyed or lost for all time so do be careful with this grave power that if you should choose to purchase is yours and yours alone....

Also you could just use a paperclip.

Recently on an international trip and realized I don't have a sim ejector with me to swap out sim cards. I bought this so I can keep it between the phone and case so I can always have it with me. It works. No complaints.

Good little tool to have, probably won't use it much, but beats trying to find a paper clip when you chage a sd card or sim card in a phone. Guy at the phone store had one on his key ring, good idea.

Upon inspection, every single one of these Sim card tray eject tools are very well-made. And they worked for me. I can’t imagine them breaking or damaging any device if used correctly. Highly recommend.

I used to use paper clips, but they tend to be a tiny bit too big, or they bend too much. These steel pins work great, and now I have a ton of them, no more scrounging through my phone boxes! :)

Say good bye to breaking apart paper clips or scattering for pins to open your sim card tray and hello to the future!! I swear they have a product for everything nowadays!! I travel a lot for business and often change my sim cards on my iPhone!!! This is EXTREMELY useful, handy, sturdy, easy to use! 10/10!! ☺️☺️

I purchased an android phone and it did not come with the sim card tool to open the storage/sim card tray. This fit the bill perfectly!

Didn't think I'd need this many until I started losing them everytime I used one!

Work well for opening the sim card slot on an Iphone

Digital Camera Vlogging Camera 24MP Ultra HD 2.7K WiFi YouTube Camera 3.0 Inch 180 Degree Rotation Flip Screen Camera Retractrable Flashlight

The reason I purchased this camera is that I want to capture moments with a good quality of camera , and this one fits perfectly into my small purse, I do have a good nikon DSLR camera but just not worth to spend more money on cameras, but this one works out perfectly!, reasonable price, quality is acceptable! I do recommend for this product if you are looking for a affordable camera!

It’s a great entry level camera. Came quickly and was packaged well. I bought this for my daughter who will be traveling soon with her Grandmother. The reason I chose this one is because it was small and the features seemed quite simple to use.

The good : I need a flip screen camera for keeping record of my strength training sessions, and this does that and the price is within my budget. Quality beats my cellphone's front camera.

Entry level camera they say, but for me, it's everything I need. I am an occasional user for family things. Takes great pictures and videos, Takes great pictures. Price was right, love it!

i purchased for my daughter, and she loved it! I am still trying to help her figure out all the settings but i am happy with the purchase!

USB Adapter for AT&T ZTE Mobley OBD2 LTE Wi-Fi Hotspot

Great!
This with a DeWalt USB 20v Max adapter and battery gives me truly portable internet in a small package wherever I can get an AT&T signal. I usually put it in a large zip loc baggie for weather protection.
The main advantage is the low cost unlimited data plan. I can take it on my tractor, hike with it in my backpack etc.

Works well with the Mobley. Well made.

Does exactly what it is supposed to do. I was a bit surprised at the price but it was what I needed and works.

Use this to plug in the ZTE Mobley to USB power rather than take up my OBD2 port.

Works as advertised. Love the Mobley.

Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM Medium Telephoto Lens for Canon SLR Cameras - Fixed

Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM Medium Telephoto Lens for Canon SLR Cameras - Fixed

Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM Medium Telephoto Lens for Canon SLR Cameras - Fixed

Oh well, can I give it 10 stars instead? This Lens has become my best and inseparable friend, since the day one, as far as taking portraits goes. It is a somewhat challenging lens, to take pictures.Due to its extreme shallow depth of field, one has to know exactly what he/she is doing under the risk of getting a blurry nose or part of the face. With that out of the way, I use to joke this lens is as fast as the Roadrunner and as sharp as a Ninja 's blade. On top of it, add the excellent price and voilá!!...you have the perfect lens.

First and foremost, know what this lens is and why you would want it. This is NOT a jack-of-all-trades lens. DO NOT buy this thinking you can shoot anything and everything with it.

WHATS IT FOR?
- Portraits. Take your time, take 5-7 shots of each pose. You will be very pleased with the result and quality.
- Products. Unless the product is huge, this can really make your product pop. The DOF is amazing and the background is almost pure bokeh if you work it right.
- Depth of Field. Anything you feel you will need a sharp DOF, this is it. A shot of a model sitting on a bench, with some leaves in the foreground could be a one in a million shot. But like I said before, take your time, make sure the model is the focal point and shoot 5-7 shots.

WHAT IT ISN'T FOR
- Sports, action, family barbecue. This is NOT a general lens. If you use it for that you will be very disappointed in 75%+ images being blurry.
- Full body shots. To get a full body shot I had to step back almost 25-30 feet. This is a 85mm and no zoom in and no zoom out.
- Wide angle. I know UH DUH... but my 50mm 1.4 or my 18-55 2.8 lens does very well with general shooting. But 85MM would be a huge problem to get say a full car, or a building or... etc (without moving back a half mile).

Bottom line, the lens is amazing. In just a few shots I was in love. But I knew right away this lens has to be used in controlled environments and never to be taken for granted (i.e. if you think you nailed a shot, focus 3 more times and take 6 more shots). It will be a welcome addition to my camera bag. Final analysis? Worth every penny.

Game changer! I LOVE this lens! It's actually become my daily shooter for still and portrait.
Since I have a Rebel and it's not a full frame camera, there's an adjustment phase when you
first start shooting to fully understand the crop factor, etc. Once you get comfortable...the quality
and composition of shots below 3.0 makes you fall in love with this lens...This 85 and a nifty fifty are
a must for any avid novice looking to get more out of your shots.

I am not a professional photographer by any means. I take photos for fun, so take this review as just that..... not professional :)
I don't have many lenses so I decided to take a leap and try this one based on other good reviews from countless YouTube videos and written reviews here on Amazon. I have had excellent results from this lens. You do have to allow a good bit of distance from your subject in order to fit the frame. This is, in my novice opinion, a fairly wide angle lens. It seems like a great option for portraits and small group shots. The attached photos are just a couple of the ones I took the day I received the lens.
The only thing I can say that's remotely negative is the lens is somewhat heavy. If you're looking for lightweight everyday photography I'd stick with the 50mm. If you don't mind the added weight, this is a great lens for thr money.

What a great lens! It's more than i expected. Scary sharpness on my EOS 6D.
Highly recommended!

Description

The Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM Standard & Medium Telephoto Lens is highly practical and ideal for a range of applications including portraiture. Its fast f/1.8 maximum aperture is effective in low light and ideal for shallow depth of field focus control. An ultrasonic autofocus motor (USM) provides fast, smooth and quiet AF action and because the front lens group does not rotate during focusing, polarizing and special filter effects can be used effectively.

This is a fantastic lens it has a very exact and fast autofocus I would say the best in canons whole line up. It takes stellar pics with great bokeh. I wouldn't hesitate. I had this lens then sold it to get the 1.2 and regretted it the 1.2 is a beast produces nice soft pics with the best bokeh , but it wasn't for me after couple years I sold it . The 1.2 was very slow to focus and a lot of times at 1.2 I would come home to upload the pics and it missed focus. I'm buying this 1.8 again !

This is becoming my favorite lens. I've got a 70-200 2.8 IS that used to be my primary portrait lens. This replaced it! I shoot this lens around 2.8 still but it is still fairly sharp even wide open. I do feel this lens is quite a bit sharper than my 70-200 though. My only gripe with this lens is the Chromatic abberation. There is A LOT, but this is easily correctable in photoshop and even the bigger more expensive 85 f1.2 L suffers from quite a bit.

I honestly can't justify the price difference between the L version and this. Side-by-side the L version has slightly better bokeh and a larger aperture, but not almost 5 times the price better!

The 50mm 1.4 is often compared to this lens. Imho, the 50mm 1.4 isn't a bad lens but the build quality of the 85mm 1.8, while they look the same, is far more solid. The 50mm 1.4 suffers from focus inconsistencies and is prone to damage (poor internal design). Autofocus on the 85mm is also far more consistent. Shooting the 50mm 1.4 wide open is useless, it is very soft until about 2.2. The 50mm 1.2L or a Sigma 50mm 1.4 ART is worth the upgrade cost over the 50mm 1.4.

Overall this is a great portrait lens for the money and competes head to head with the bigger more expensive 85mm 1.2L.

Sharp, fast focusing, lightweight, balanced contrast, beautiful imagery.

I had the 85 1.2 for a year but i couldnt justify its performance for the price. It is heavy, focus hunts, slow to focus, can easily be soft at wide open.

Then i bought this 1.8. What a surprise! I use it 70% mostly for video work on a gimbal and cant believe how sharp or sharper it is than the 1.2. The 3d look is still there tho not too pronounced, great looking bokeh and shallow depth or field, contrast and colors are well balanced, it is fast and accurate to focus. It is light, and I dont worry about getting it tossed around or stolen because it is affordable.

Basically it is Canon’s hidden gem and I dont see why one would spend a fortune on the 1.2 or 1.4 IS which are far more expensive when this one works well.

Skip the “luxury” 85 variants, this one should be your staple portrait lens.

This is a well done lenses which will fit for someone who is not a beginner.
Probably, the best use would be on a Full Frame Camera because of the zoom.
You will get sharp photos in low light locations.

This lens was the next step up from my 50 mm 1.8. I am new into photography and want good lenses to learn with. This lens is perfect for my light and airy style. It is very sharp, shaper than my 50 mm (in my opinion) I can’t wait to continue using it! I recommend this lens to anyone trying to become more familiar with photography. It is great for portraits!

OtterBox DEFENDER iPhone 6/6s Case - Retail Packaging - BLACK

OtterBox DEFENDER iPhone 6/6s Case - Retail Packaging - BLACK

OtterBox DEFENDER iPhone 6/6s Case - Retail Packaging - BLACK

I purchased an Otter Box Defender when I first purchased my phone in November of 2014. After three plus years of wear and tear, which includes letting 10 grandchildren play with it, carrying it around helping with farm work, and the two year old hurling it across the room on several occasions, it kept my iPhone well protected. The silicone did start to peel, and the Home button cover tore off, so it was definitely time for a new Defender.

The new Defender is made of slightly different outer material, which is not as soft, so hopefully won’t shred/peel anytime soon. The interior shell is slightly tighter, as well, which makes it a pain for my small hands to pry it apart, but is probably more protective because of it! So overall, this new Defender is definitely lighter weight!

The only bummer is that I prefer a BlackWeb 5 ft metal encased lightening cord, and the opening on this new Defender is too small for the BlackWeb to plug into. It was fine on the old Defender, so such a bummer.

I purchased the "OtterBox DEFENDER iPhone 6/6s - Frustration-Free packaging - INDIGO HARBOR (Royal Blue/Admiral Blue)" back in March 2016, so I figured it was time to write a review. I bought this case for my iPhone 6s. I'm very satisfied with this purchase and I can't imagine not having an otterbox defender case to protect my iPhone 6s.

-> You do sacrifice the sleekness of your iPhone but I think it's worth it.
-> The indigo color is OK. I wish I purchased the all black case instead.
-> I've dropped my phone multiple times but maybe 4-5 times with hard impact on concrete and tiles. The otterbox defender stayed solid and didn't damage my iPhone.
-> The screen plastic protector does the job because I can't tell you how many times I've carelessly placed my phone in my bag/purse, still without a scratch.
-> The touch response on the screen protector is good.
-> I didn't have a problem with accessing the audio jack and the charging connection. The volume buttons works fine.

I highly recommend the otterbox defender for those who want to protect their investment because we all know iPhones are not cheap!

I purchased this product for my new iPhone 6S back in April. I haven't really put it to the test with it's protection until today. Today, I got into my car in a hurry, very excited to get home after a very long day. I was about 3 miles down the road when I heard a clunk and I looked in my rearview mirror to see my beautiful teal otterbox encasing my spiffy iPhone 6S flying through the air. My heart dropped. I sped down the road, turned around, and flew back to the area of what I thought would be my sweet phone's grave. I glimpsed a hint of teal and slammed on my brakes with the hazard lights ablaze. I ran back down the road, dodging and directing traffic. To my surprise, the phone was face down in the road, but it was singing my ring tone. I thought, "For sure, the screen is broken even though it still manages to have sound?" I picked up that phone... unshattered, unscathed and was able to answer that phone call. Which happened to be a friend going the same way wondering why I was running around in the road. Anyway, I give this product 5 stars. I would give it 10 if I could because I really could not afford another 500 dollar phone today (I didn't opt for that insurance) and thanks to otterbox, I don't have to worry!

This will be my 4th or 5th Otterbox case, for both iPads and iPhones, and while every other member of my family (using other cases) has cracked (or smashed) a phone, I never have! These cases are sometimes criticized for being clunky, but they are certainly functional, and if preventing breakage of $600+ devices is not the whole point, I don’t know what is. Furthermore, I LIKE the fact that this rubberized case is “sticky.” I can put it on my car seat or even dashboard, and it stays where I put it. I recently tried one of those dashboard phone holders, which attach to vent fans, and broke a fin (which is not cheap to fix on a BMW), so have decided not to use them again, and I recently bought an Apple case, which was (leather and) beautiful, but did NOT stay where I put it (is was slippery)! I now have an extra Apple case which cost $60, which I don’t use. These Otterbox cases again, being “sticky,” stay put. So even after using several of these cases for several years, I won’t use anything else... These are great, truly functional cases.

update: THIS Otterbox case has developed a minor problem, for which there seems to be no solution. I noticed that there seemed to be a small amount of water between the case screen and the phone screen. I had seen this before, when a little rain splashed on the case, and some got in through the camera lens opening. It causes dark patches on the screen. So, I removed the case, and although I could not see any moistire, I dried both surfaces carefully and thoroughly with a cotton cloth, and put the case back on the phone, however, the dark patches were still there! So I did the same thing AGAIN, this time with detergent on the cloth, in case the offending agent was some kind of oil, and put it back together, and guess what? NO CHANGE! So, just in case I left some detergent on one of the parts, I did it yet AGAIN, this time with pure water, dried it thoroughly, and put it all back together. I AM STILL GETTING THESE DARK PATCHES ON THE SCREEN, which look exactly like there is water between the case screen film and the phone! The cause must be a physical interaction between the very smooth surface of the phone and the similarly smooth-to-a-fault inner surface of the case screen film...

This is not a VERY serious problem, but it is certainly annoying! My otherwise perfectly functioning case is now giving the appearence of having water inside of the case. I am not exactly pleased, but I like this case otherwise, so I will knock the rating down just one star, to 4 stars.

I had used an almost identical Otterbox case for at least 3 years on my iPhone 4s - and I loved it and had no problems with it. This Otter for my new iPhone 6s was a problem as the built in screen protector did not fit flush to the screen of the phone. That made typing on the screen a nightmare, especially the keys in the corners. I really didn't feel like jumping through the return hoops so I removed the screen protector from the new case and put a glass screen protector on the phone and reinstalled the new case. The big problem with this procedure was removing all of the adhesive left on the inner part of the new case that had held the screen on. The removal of the adhesive was quite a job. I actually like the glass screen protector better than the built in screen protector on my old phone. I'm not sure I would solve this problem in the same manner if I had it to do over again but...... I really like the Otter case for my 6s but the built in screen protector was a big problem.

Description

The OtterBox Defender Series case for Apple iPhone 6/6s provides heavy duty protection against drops, dust and damage without taking away from the usability of your phone's features. The Defender Series case offers triple-layer protection and is built from a high-impact polycarbonate shell, durable silicone slipcover and a built-in screen protector, making it one of the toughest cases on the market. Why else do you think we called it the Defender Series?

After losing an iphone to a nasty fall that broke the home button (and discovering how vital that component is to the rest of the phone... literally it was the Achilles' heel of my previously indestructible phone), I decided to invest in the strongest case for my new iphone. So far, this case is working nicely, it's not even as bulky as I thought it would be, and I haven't experienced any of the fog up issues other reviewers have commented about with the plastic screen protector. My guess is because it's currently hot where I live... but if it does start fogging up come winter, I'll just cut out the screen protector and purchase a separate one. I love the durable quality of the case, and was surprised to find out that the apple logo on the back is also protected. There is a plastic laminate over that area that keeps it from getting scratched as well. Also love that this case will not get dirty like other cases I've owned. I can tell that I'll be able to get a long use out of this case.

I ordered this case from Amazon the day before I purchased a new iPhone 6S, and was pleasantly surprised at how much lighter & slimmer it is than the Defender case I used on my old iPhone 4S. The clip-on hard plastic holster also seems a little tougher than the previous version; the old one had to be replaced several times because the clip snagged something & cracked off, while the current holster has snagged a few times (mainly in the seat belt when I exit my car) and the worst that's happened was it popped off my belt once without any damage. The phone case itself is easy to hold and provides very good protection from falls & scratches. The rubber tabs that cover the docking port , earphone jack, and mute/vibrate switch do an excellent job of staying closed without being overly difficult to open; I'm especially happy that the earphone jack cover lines up properly (it did NOT on the 4S case), while the cover for the docking port doesn't seem to be trying to force the power/synch cable out of the port (another problem with the older 4S version of the Defender). The only complaint I have is that the bevel around the screen can get in the way when playing some games or when trying to drag app icons between screens if my finger's not at the right angle -- but it's such a minor problem that I'm not subtracting any stars because of it. This case also doesn't add as much weight or bulk to the 6S as its predecessor did to the 4S -- all in all, I'm a happy camper with this one!

I had a defender case for my 3GS and 4s and loved them. He touch response was fantastic and my phone looked brand new till I upgraded, even Apple employees were impressed with their appearance. I moved on to a lifeproof for my 6s due to the initial reviews of the new defender. The lifeproof was nice but didn’t last long so I came back to the defender. Overall I am happy with the quality and touch response.

I feel like the rubber flap over ports and silence switch will eventually rip. Especially the charging port cover. It has signs of wrinkles from being held open when charging, which ca be seen in the photo.

The other aspect I am not completely happy with is the secondary “plastic” the covers the home button. Touch response is fine but it was layed on top of the main screen protector. This means the edge is easily felt and has small nicks that I worry could lead to it peeling off.

I bought this from Warehouse Deals and it was just as advertised - “used - like new”. Otterbox is mostly about protection and less about style. There are plenty of more stylish and sleek cases. I think of my Otterbox as an armored car for my phone. The phone is so totally encased that the design of the phone is unrecognizable. However, I am confident that the phone would survive a drop on concrete. The built in screen protector fits precisely and the fingerprint id works through the thin plastic film that covers it. The case is rather thick, so placing it in a tight pants pocket is not easy. Wearing the phone on the belt holster is convenient but certainly not very “cool” looking. So, it is what it is - an armored car, not a sports car.

I bought this case because I have a tendency to drop my phone. I wanted drop protection for the screen and corners.
Pros:
-I like the the feel of the case and the color is great. The color is a bright red. The material is almost rubbery, which helps it not slide around or off of things
-This case comes with a screen protector. There is no need to buy one separately.
-I have dropped my phone from a counter height distance and there was no cracks.
-Port covers seem sturdy and I don't have any fear of them breaking on anytime soon. My charger still fits perfectly. I have yet to try headphones.
-The speaker is not muffled and I didn't lose any sound quality.
-Price for an Otterbox is great.

Cons:
-It is rather difficult to get the case open to put the phone in it or clean it. I had to have my fix all husband do it for me.
-The case had a bluish tint from keeping my phone in my jeans pockets. The fabric dyes the case. It looks faded and dingy, so if you want a case for looks this probably isn't the best one for you.
-I have noticed sometimes I have to press harder or multiple times to do certain things on my phone, because of the screen protector. It's not that often so doesn't bother me.
-Dust and particles do get trapped under the screen protector and now I have a new scratch on the screen. I know it was this case, becuase I had just had my screen repaired. I should probably clean it more, but it is so hard to open the case.

I am giving a 4 star review because the case has served the purpose of why I needed it. Aesthetics don't bother me, so the protection outweighs the fading and color transfer issues. I would buy this case again.
