I wanted a small protective case to hold my gopro hero 4, external battery charger, 2 batteries, smart remote, and charging cable. This is a good quality case. Very strong and I have no doubt this will protect my 400 dollar camera very well. Also I like that it comes with a carabiner clip and the zipper is very high quality. Although I had to modify the foam to fit my external battery charger by cutting a into the foam, It fits everything perfectly. Also for you to fit your gopro camera in the cutout, you must attach the camera to the buckle with a screw for it to fit inside correctly. Otherwise the foam will not hold it. I read some customer reviews complaining that the camera does not fit snug. Anyways, I always buy smatree products because it is always high quality for less price than what gopro offers. I have their s2 selfie pole, headstrap, chestrap, and batteries. They have never failed me. For the quality vs the price its a great bargain.
I didn't intend to use this for the Gopro and unfortunately it didn't quite fit the item I intended to use it for. The dimensions listed seem just a few millimeters larger than what I am getting. And the inner dimensions could be up to 5mm smaller.
The case comes with a foam insert that can be completely removed and pieces within the foam block that can be removed as needed. It has a zipper pocket on the inside cover of the lid of the case and comes with a removable carabiner on an outside nylon loop.
I can't speak to the capabilities of transporting a Gopro but I have to say that the case seems very sturdy and high quality. The materials are nice from down to the mesh for the inner pocket and the rubber zipper pulls.
Even though it didn't fit what I intended I'm going to keep it because of the quality and the fact that I always find uses for cases like these. Again I can't speak for it holding a Gopro but I can say that it's a very nice case using high quality materials.
The case seems well constructed. A stiff, nylon fabric covered outer shell, and a nicely cut foam divider. Overall a great case but (initially) I didn't receive case that is shown in the pictures!
The photo on Amazon shows a zippered inner compartment built into the lid, however the case I received has an open pocket there. This zippered compartment feature is why I chose the Smatree over the similar, but more expensive POV Case XS GoPro-Edition 3.0 Black. I want the small items to stay put!
UPDATE: The seller sent an email, asking if I was satisfied with their product. I replied, explaining the discrepancy between the photo and the case I received. They sent the correct one (with zippered pocket), free of charge! I didn't even have to return the other case. So now I have two. :-)
Keep in mind the two larger cutouts in the foam divider appear to be meant for optional accessories like the LCD back, Battery BakPak, or WiFi remote. If you have these accessories, it will be perfect for you. I would have preferred a place to put that awkwardly shaped 3-Way Pivot Arm that comes with the camera. It doesn't fit well in the un-zippered pocket, or in the foam. I had to take the arm apart to get it into the case. I might try cutting the foam to have a larger space since I currently don't own the accessories those slots seem to be designed for.
UPDATE: After using the new case, I've decided it's not that big of a deal to take apart the 3-Way Pivot Arm to make it fit into the zipper compartment. I'm very happy with the product and the service.
This is exactly what I wanted for the price I wanted to pay. I just wanted a small case that would fit the camera, two spare batteries, and the LED BacPac (separately or attached). I don't always use the BacPac so I was glad that I could fit a spare back door in the case, as well. The camera case fits in the slot with either (any) back door and the extra door goes in the zippered pouch. There's room for spare SD cards and maybe a USB cable but not much else. You're not going to fit any mounting options in this case along with the aforementioned items but mounting options don't need the same protection I wanted for the camera/case. I have a large case for a UAV that I usually keep all my GoPro stuff in but I've only recently started using my GoPro for non-aerial applications and wanted a protective minimal size case (for my day pack). This is perfect for that. I am at a loss to explain how a reviewer can complain about the small size of this case when the dimensions are clearly given. Says more about the reviewer than the case.
I used with my Hero7 GoPro and it works a treat. I simply cut out the slots I needed (some come slotted as standard) and I can carry it easily in a jacket pocket, with wires, 3 spare batteries and the Hero7 inside. Ideal to stop nicks and dings inside a vehicle when you travel around a lot like I do. It worked out to be the perfect day pack for my GP7 camera, spare batteries and cords. Highly recommended.

This is an excellent case that fits my needs perfectly. It fits my GoPro Hero 4 Black, 2 Smatree Batteries, 2 adhesive pads, a USB cable, and the skeleton backdoor. It is rather small though, so please keep this in mind. One could also easily fit a floaty backdoor and WI-FI remote, as they suggest in their pictures.
Who is this case for? This case is for someone who wants their camera to be very safe without taking up much space. This wonderful little case fits in my backpack (Razer Tactical Backpack) without any difficult difficulties. It won't work for someone who wants to store all their accessories in one case. For that, I have a bag to carry around, which also hangs out in my backpack.
All in all, I love this case and could not be happier with it! If you need a small, protective, and wonderful case for your GoPro, then this is the one to get!
Perfect little case to protect my GoPro Hero when not in use. Strong ( Elephants could use as stepping stones ) and feather light, it is a superb product. I highly recommend this case. Zip closure operates smoothly and pre-cut foam layer allows for pull-outs to accommodate various additional accessories beside the space allocated for the camera. The small size of the case does limit what can be placed within, however, larger cases are available from Smatree if desired. Very pleased with this case. Their fold-out product line mini-brochure included is expansive and shows an imaginative and useful accessory listings for the GoPro cameras.
This is exactly what I was looking for when traveling with my Gopro. I have a DSLR camera backpack that could easily accommodate my Gopro, but I wanted something that could guarantee a snug and protective fit. Lightweight and compact, the case is solidly built and the inside apartment can accommodate the Gopro with housing, wifi remote, Gopro pack, 2 spare batteries, and cables/accessories. All these parts are nestled in perfect foam cut outs. The cables and accessories are separated by a net that protects the housing from scratches during transit. The aluminum buckle attached to the case gives you some flexibility in the way you carry the case - inside or even outside of your travel backpack. There is a larger version of this case, but as a person who likes flying without checked-in baggage, this is the perfect size.
It is a nice little case for my weekend trips. I purchased this case because I wanted something that I can store all of my batteries a components when I didn't need to worry about having so much spare equipment. This case is very small, but is perfect for my needs. I am able to fit in it:

Just received the case today for my GoPro Hero3 White edition. Right out of the box, it was missing one of the zipper pulls, which was somewhat disapointing. I sent an email requesting a replacement. Overall though, I am very impressed with the case. The outer covering feels like a ballistic nylon, and may be somewhat water resistant (but I have not tested that yet). The foam inside is also much better than I expected. It has fairly high density. The camera and batteries fit well in their designated areas, but if you have a Wasabi dual battery charger, you may have to modify the case slightly. I plan to cut the foam and join where the remote and LCD screens are designed to be, so that it can hold my charger. You can't fit too much into the mesh zipper on the lid. A couple cables and the other back cover is about it. While the case doesn't offer the level of protection of say a Pelican case, it does serve to keep your gear organized and while fairly protected.
