I purchased this travel scale to make sure I was not overweight for a recent trip. Standing on the bathroom scales holding a 50 lb. suitcase and trying to see the weight isn't easy - why didn't I think of this before. Great little gadget.
I don't know how accurate it is yet, I'm heading to the airport Friday and hope my bag is light enough (17.5 pounds) for carry-on for 12 days in Croatia & Italy!
I got this scale to weigh my backpack so I keep the weight under 15 lbs for a 60 day trip. Since I never pack an airport bag that comes close to exceeding the weight limit, I probably won't be weighing suitcases, but this scale handles up to 110 lbs (I think that's what it reports.)
We like this scale as it prevented us from being overweight for our suitcases when flying.
