WalkFit Platinum Foot Orthotics –Arch Support Inserts Plantar Fasciitis Insoles for Womens or Mens Shoes Relieve Back, Foot & Knee Pain. Over 10 Million Sold!

I've been using a pair of orthotics I bought for a few hundred dollars at the Good Feet Store for over a decade. They changed my life so significantly for the better. I went from painful, sore, bruised feelings in my feet to normal in less than a week. I can't stress enough how orthotics help ones feet if indeed you're suffering as I did. Having given my podiatric history i can tell you the Walkfit orthotics are a very good/great alternative or replacement for the extremely expensive ones I bought so long ago.

tl:dr these are great orthotics comparable with more costly alternates.

After a week on crutches, I developed shooting pains in the bottom of my left foot (the foot that was bearing all the weight). This was quite a familiar pain as I had experienced severe plantar fasciitis during and after my 2nd pregnancy. During that episode of foot pain, my physician referred me to a podiatrist for custom orthotics. But, I happened to find a pair of these on the shelf at Bed, Bath, and Beyond before my appointment. They worked so well and so quickly to alleviate the plantar fasciitis pain that I never purchased the obscenely expensive custom pair being sold by the podiatrist. That was 6 years ago, and when the familiar pain resurfaced, I could not find my old pair of Walkfit inserts anywhere. So, I purchased these with rush shipping. They arrived in 2 days and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the product has improved over the past half a decade. The heel of the insert is now made of gel, which is more comfortable than the old all-plastic design. Additionally, the production quality appears to be better on the newer version as the customizable arch supports fit more snugly into the white base than my old pair. I popped these into my sneakers and was feeling significantly better in just one day. I've been wearing them for a week now (following the instructions on the package and increasing daily from just a few hours of wear the first day)... and, I am pain-free! This is such an inexpensive and simple way to help support those arches when the ligaments get over-stretched. I'm a big fan!

P. S. To those who are battling plantar fasciitis pain, I have also found daily calf stretching and massage to aid significantly in the healing process. Hope this helps somebody out there!

I need these to support my arches and reduce the constant pain in my metatarsal joints. My foot doctor stated that they are good, but lack the stiffness of true orthotics. I agree with the stiffness remark (wish they were stiffer and didn't flex so much under load - they would work much better for me), but they are much cheaper than what he was trying to get me to buy! I use the high inserts.
I've used these for years and the latest design isn't as durable as the earlier generation I first used. They are also more expensive than they were. I have three pairs and they have all failed in the same areas after almost a year's worth of daily use (see photo). The left side is a mirror image of the right for the cracks. I suspect the molding process leaves a potential weakness in the material. Hence the 4 star rating.

I had an issue with plantar fasciitis for the first time in my life, it is awful... these saved me!! I couldn't walk right for over a month, I hobbled around work trying to hide the fact that I was limping. I knew I was compensating elsewhere and would pay for that, so I broke down and bought all kinds of things online. I put the "beginner" inserts in both pieces, both shoes. It ends up I only needed to wear them on the affected foot and I only needed the arch support, the heel piece bugged me, so I left it out (to be clear, I only used the gray plastic piece that you put inside the white insert. I just popped out the gray arch support and stuck it in my shoe - for me that was all it took. Do NOT give up if the whole insert bothers you, use what you need, play around it with it, these are golden, they will allow you to heal.). I was better within weeks, I was amazed. I also started taking a magnesium supplement every night before bed, helps with muscles, your heart and everything. Women only need 320 mgs daily; I vacillate btwn 300 & 400 mgs depending on the supplement brand I buy. Those two things together healed me. I hear plantar fasciitis can take people out for a long time, and it is painful!

I have extremely high arches and as I'm getting old, I need more support. My feet hurt ALL the time. NONE of the drugstore type inserts for 'high arch' even comes close. The custom inserts are just too expensive, especially when I hear people say they don't really help. I am totally in love with these WalkFit inserts. First time in years I've gone to bed without a heating pad on my feet. Couple of tips: I have some short Ariat work boots I just bought as I have got to do some yard work and I put the 'high' version in those. I was able to cut away ivy and brush for hours. Could not believe it. Then I figured I'd test these out in other shoes. My tennis/walking shoes only want the 'low' insert. Anything else feels like I've put golf balls in them. I tried them next in some Ugg like boots with sheepskin lining (insole not removable) and have not been able to make any height work. You have to remove any liner in the shoe/boot unless it is really thin. They come with a kit to put in sandels but I've not tried that. Someone else here said you need to wiggle your foot a bit to get that arch support in the 'sweet spot', and you really do. If you don't they won't feel right. I am really excited about this as all I have worn for years are Birkenstocks and Orthoheel. I am a woman and of course I love shoes... Gonna go shopping! BTW: they do not - really cannot - work with th Birkenstock molded footbed.
Edited to add: oddly enough I find I change the medium to low in the mornings. I went shoe shopping today and different shoes really react differently so no mail order for me. Ordered a second set today,

Description

Been ordering thes for several years. These are great for flat arches. Only issue I've ever had is they don't last long and tend to flatten. I usually get about 3 months out of a set. That's a small price to pay to keep the painful arches from happening.

Yes, after the "break-in", there will be a bit of pain which is good because your bones and muscles are adjusting (which is about at least 2 weeks and the pain will go away), you will start to feel the difference. At least I did. It helped me to walk upright (straighter) and keep a good back posture. Also, these orthotics absorbs the shock from walking well. This is just from wearing them to work. I work in a warehouse setting where the building is about 8-10 times the size of a football field. So, I walk a lot...i.e., from point A to B then back to A. Also, I do a lot of lifting. I do have a bad low back problem (bulged disc). I am 6ft and 238lbs and 50 yrs old. I have not gone out for a long walk or work out in the gym with them yet. I just signed up for a gym membership online. I am sure there will be good benefits when I do start. I may give an update on this.

I have purchased these many times and swear by them. The heal cushion is great and these really do help people who are flat footed like myself. They do require a break-in-period for first-time users. You will love this product!

I have very high arches, plantar fasciitis and heel spurs on my left foot. I have suffered for 3 years. Have tried so many inserts, custom orthotics, cortisone shots, therapy, etc.. nothing helped. These inserts are the ONLY ONES that actually fill in my arch. Plus the heel part is like a mini trampoline for your heel! Keeps it suspended pretty much. More relief than any other insert.
However, I still ended up having surgery for my foot issues. Turns out I have an extra muscle in my leg thats running next to the nerve that goes from your ankle to your foot. Anyways...I'm healing and was supposed to go from hard cast to my fracture cast (kind you can take on and off), but honestly, these inserts feel better :) So I am wearing these in my shoes rather than the fracture cast. (don't tell my orthopedic surgeon! LoL ) GET THESE...you will LOVE THEM!

The best product ever. I have had extreme knee right pain and left ankle pain for nearly 10 years. An orthopedic surgeon told me weight loss was my best option. Inability to walk and stand for long periods has made losing significant weight difficult. I wore these orthotics from 9:00 AM until 11:00 PM & never needed to take them out as recommended. I had a spring in my step. I'd forgotten how it felt to walk without pain & fatigue from holding my breath due to the tension of trying not to put too much weight on my joints as I walk. I am going for a walk without anxiety for the first time in a decade. I'm 55 & I felt like I did in my thirties; strong Ann energetic.
