These packing cubes exceeded my expectations!!!! I was able to pack for a 7 day cruise-- 7 day outfits, 7 evening dresses, 6 swimsuits and 6 swim cover ups. Along with 10 pairs of undergarments, 4 pjs sets and 3 bras. It was crazy. I highly recommend! I used a Vera Bradly weekend tote to fit my packing cubes and then a separate bag for shoes, toiletries, etc. worked perfectly! Very happy with my purchase.
These little bags saved my life--went on a trip to Europe for two weeks and didn't want to risk the possibility of lost luggage. I--a person who is well-known for overpacking--fit two week's worth of bulky winter clothing and dinner dresses for a luxurious European cruise IN A CARRY-ON!! My mother and husband were AMAZED I was able to travel so lightly, even our Uber driver looked at me like I was some anomaly when I told him our travel plans. Again--I'm the one who goes to a week long trip to Hawaii with massive luggage filled with teeny bikinis.
I will admit that there is some strategy and a bit of playing Tetris to make sure these fit well in a carry-on. They work similar to vacuum bags, minus the vacuum part. Be smart with your folding--I rolled many of my thinner sweaters, pjs, and t-shirts and was able to fit more than just folding them squarely. I was also sure to wear my parka on the plane so I didn't have to worry about packing it (we traveled from DC to Europe in November). I didn't bring a hair dryer or curling iron since the cruise doesn't allow U.S. appliances--they did provide both in our rooms though :) --shout-out to Ama Waterways!
The bag/cubes themselves are sturdy and stretch enough to handle heavy clothing and are very pliable. With everything I fit in them, I'm impressed the zippers withstood the pressure--good construction!
Already bought additional sets as gifts for all my over-packer friends & family. Don't hesitate getting these-- they really make a difference.
At first I didn't get how these little cubes could really make that much of a difference, but I wanted to try them and I'm glad I did! My luggage was so much more compact and organized. I filled them with 8 nights / 9 days worth of clothes and swimwear, plus some back-up outfits!
I can't believe I've been packing without these all my life. I tried them out during a "practice pack" for a 14-day European trip I will be taking in a few weeks and I was able to fit all my toiletries, 14 pairs of daily contacts, 3 pairs of jeans, undergarments and 12 tops all with ease with a bag to spare. The colors are nice and the zippers work well.
I have traveled a lot lately and decided that maybe it was time to invest in these packing cubes to see if it would help me organize my bag to make traveling less stressful and to save room. I have a long term trip planned ahead of me and already packing. I must say-I am surprised and thrilled with how much I love these already. I didn't notice any bad plastic smell like many comments were saying. These are very light weight and seem durable. I am actually debating on buying more smaller ones so I can have even more organization to my bag-however I feel I have been spending too much money lately so maybe I'll wait until Christmas.
As you can see by the picture-I was able to pack a ton of stuff in that bag. This was the medium sized bag-and although it doesn't look it, inside that bag I have 1 sweater dress, 5 t-shirts, 4 capris, 1 fancy shirt, 3 skirts, 1 pair of shorts, and 3 camis. Now all that in a medium sized bag?!?! I say we have a winner :) ( all of my clothes are rolled. And most are rolled in groups and not separately; I.e. 3 skirts are all rolled together)

Buying these was my first time using packing cubes, and I'm hooked! I can't believe how much easier everything was. I wasn't completely sold on the concept at first, but I had a ton to pack and didn't want to check any luggage, so I figured for $20 it would be worth a shot.
I recently took a very busy trip, Thursday to Monday, including a 10k race and a costume party on one day. I only took a carry-on on this trip, and still somehow managed to get everything I needed and leave my backpack almost empty so I could bring souvenirs home in that.
I used the large, medium, and small. The medium and large are almost the same size. I chose not to use the extra large because it seemed like it took up too much room to really be helpful in keeping anything organized. All three fit in my bag and left plenty of room to shove additional items in-between, like my running shoes. The small cube held all my tops for the weekend, the medium my bottoms, and the large fit both costumes I needed for Saturday, including a pair of flats - this cube wound up holding a dress, undergarments for that dress, thick running tights, a top, and a bulky vest. I just shoved my other shoes in the bag, but used the laundry bag for my nasty running shoes on the way home. It was a bit like playing Tetris, but it was an organized way to shove lots of things in rather than wrinkling everything in every corner and having to sort through once I got to my hotel.
As for the cubes themselves, they were very well constructed. Even the most packed one never felt like it was bursting at the seams, and the vibrant colors matched my suitcase perfectly.
During the trip itself, my sister and I even used the smallest cube in our day pack to hold certain things we wanted to keep separate for everything else in the backpack. (Inhaler, medicine, sunblock.) Quite handy!
I don't know that I can ever travel without these again. Once home, they easily zip inside one another and can be flattened for easy storage.
Overall, these are great and a smart purchase if you travel frequently. I travel very often for work, usually a week or two at a time. I have about a dozen of these in different sizes from different brands. The quality of the packing cubes is on par with the Amazon ones, but a little lower quality than eBags. The eBags ones have higher quality zippers but also cost quite a bit more. For the price, the Bagail ones are a good option. I bought them on an Amazon Lightning Deal for about $16. As long as you aren't too rough or overpack them, they should last quite a while.
From having to travel frequently, I can tell you these are a real time saver and convenience. I can keep certain things packed and in my suitcase in between trips and do a little repacking before I hit the road. My suitcase is nice and organized and everything stays put while I travel. When I get to the hotel, it takes me less than 5 minutes to unpack. I just grab the packing cubes and put them in the drawers, unzip them, fold back the top cover and I'm done. It's also nice because sometimes the hotel drawers are a little dirty. Definitely recommend buying packing cubes if you are a frequent traveler. Look at a couple different brands and just buy the ones with the best deal.
What a game changing in packing. No more underwear and bras flying everywhere in your bag. I don't know how I ever packed without these. They feel sturdy and my suitcase feels more organized and sooo much more room left. I'm buying a set for my hubby and child.
Just did a trial packing run for a trip I'm taking in a bit. I wasn't so sure these packing organizers would save me space as I'm a pretty good packer on my own. I packed a small suitcase the way I would without these cubes, then unpacked and repacked with the cubes. The result of my experiment: It does indeed save me space, and good bit of it.
So, you can take this to be I'm really not as great of a packer as I thought, or that these little cubes really can and do save anyone space.
I also really like the fact that everything is more safe and secure in my suitcase in these cubes, so when the baggage handlers throw my suitcase around, the stuff inside doesn't go flinging about as well.
My husband and I were able to pack to a two week vacation in small roller bags thanks to these little guys. They take up a lot of room in a suitcase, especially one of carryon size, BUT it’s great to have all your clothes not shift around. My husband was able to use the largest cube for his bag, and he loved it as well. It helps your clothes stay super organized. When you open your bag, you know exactly what cube to go for if you’re looking for a certain item of clothing. We did laundry while we were in Rome, and used the biggest one to help carry our clothes back. These were so awesome! I highly recommend them.
