These are awesome crayons but be aware that they do not just come off with a little soap and water. I got them for my 3 year old to play with rather than her using her paint. They were less mess and she had a great time, I just did not think they would have the staying power that they do. I thought they were more of body crayons, which is my fault for not paying closer attention. These are great at what they are supposed to do and would be great for a face painting booth. I bathed my daughter right after she drew all over herself with these and they did not come off but by the end of the day and a second tub they came off. She did not care, she thought they were great.
My youngest daughter is part of a performance group at her school that dresses up as clowns. I needed something easy to use to apply her makeup. These are much easier to use than the previous creamy makeup I was applying with sponges. The colors are bright and removes easily (some of the darker colors will require more than just face wipes - use soap and water).
I gave it 4 stars because the crayons are very soft and difficult to remove from the case. We broke one in the process.
Other than very slippery when they get warm they were a huge success.
Try pace fainting wiggly autistic kids, toddlers, and preschoolers . . . These crayons were a great idea. Just keep them cool, wipe them off to sharpen them for details, bring along brushes just in case they get to small to use like a crayon so you get your money's worth.
This set painted about 9 children and 7 adults that day.
I haven't used these yet, so I'll revise my rating in a couple months after my daughter's party - I just wanted to add a photo for others looking to purchase. The measurements are included in the listing, but for some reason I still pictured larger crayons. Thought it would help to see them in real life.
I'm hopeful they will work well based on other reviews!
These worked well, some of the colors needed a little extra applications to cover well, like white, green and blue. Tip: use a warm rag with lotion on it to remove from face, comes off easier than harsh wiping.

I had never face painted before and picked some things for.Bock Fest where we offer free face painting. These were great! I used basic colors and then these crayons to make designs on top. Forehead tiaras were very popular! They lasted more than seven hours and we painted a LOT if faces!
These facepaint crayons were great. They went on pretty smoothly, blended well, and washed off with soap and water, even the black, which I LOVED. I used them for my daughter's birthday party guests, and while one crayon broke, I was still able to use it with no problem. The kids liked it so much they even grabbed them and used it on me!
I was a bit worried because I didn't realize how small these were when i ordered them. But I have been able to use over and over again and after 7 face designs, I still have plenty left. Nice bright colors and variety of them too. Also, I should add, they wash off easily with soap and water. Lastly, if you plan to use for Halloween I suggest to order an additional black and white or actual makeup pencils. My family used these for Halloween and those two colors were used the most.
I thought these were great. I am not the best artist so I wanted to stay away from paints and these crayons made coloring my face so easy and it was not messy at all, as well as easy to clean up. I made a sugar skull on my face and was pleased with how it came out thanks to the crayons. Box was definitely smaller than i thought but thanks to some pictures I was prepared for that, I still have plenty to use for next time.
Nice product. Lasted all day (weather was very hot). The colors are pretty bright and super easy to apply. I'm only giving it 4 stars because it says JUMBO pack, but there is nothing jumbo about it. They are very small (think Chapstick but only half as thick, more like a pencil.) And 12 colors isn't that many. But they do the job and I'll be able to use them at several events.
