Normally when one buys a scope for a very low price, they can expect it to not work very well or to not be very durable. It either stops working within a short period of time, the screws loosen or it fogs up in damp weather. And sometimes the scope doesn't stay zeroed in. These were all things I expected from the OTW Rifle Scope, yet I was pleasantly surprised. The scope worked, the image was clear and bright, it's durable and it has a green/red recticle that works beautifully, but is not really necessary. If the batteries burn out, throw them away and use the scope with just the crosshairs --- and replace them or not. It works just fine without the batteries.
That said, nothing's perfect. The OTW scope is large, and the rings can be a pain to secure the scope with using the tool supplied. But once on, it works very well. It's an amazing value and I don't know how they can produce them for the price they do. I don't really need the 6-9X magnification on a scope of this type, but that's a small criticism. I have a Bushnell scope that cost twice as much, and it's not nearly the quality of this scope.
How can they produce a scope with these features for this price? Who knows?
This is a really good scope. The adjustment knobs are pretty bad. Had to use a 8 mm open end wrench to turn them. Could use heavy plastic aluminum or a strong wood with notch cut to turn them. Once sighted it stays sighted. Took about six shots and was right on. I center my scopes right off the bat. That is turn either way till it stops. Most scopes are 360 total. So I reverse turn 170 or close. It's about full 2 and 1/2 turns.
Really clear and great crosshairs. As good as they come. Shot with a crossmans 1377 .177 pellets the domed 10.5 grain. Posted pic of first target. One high I jerked. The other5 Numbered I was adjusting as I shot.all shots 15 yards. From my front porch near a birch tree. Say again the aggregation of turning the cross hairs is a pain but we'll worth it. Paid about 20 bucks for it.
Just got my second scope. On a crossmans phantom hunter. Piston type. This one was eaiser to turn adjustments for some reason. Blue after 4 power. But I don't need above 3 or 4 power but the front of scope and be turned. After 4 to 5 power blurry. This is one kicking break barrel. Shot 50 or so shots today. Hope it holds up. Really like these scopes. Added to pics mounted on the crossmans. 177.rifle.
Have a 10/22 rifle and just used it as a plankster. Had a few cheap scopes that fell out of sight through just a few rounds. This seems right and pretty good quality. I love the latch caps on both ends. Very convenient vs. Having to find a place for the bungee string cap covers on other rifles. If its misting outside or you are shooting multiple guns at the outdoor range, make an easy cover to avoid particals forming int the rear or front of scope. Haven't yet shot it or taken photos but as of right now. Very pleased
Grabbed 2 of these, 1 for a pellet gun, hey it's a great price so why not? My 7 year old is all about SWAT and snipers so it's a great addition. The other one is for a 22 rifle (not installed yet). So far it's worked great on the pellet gun. Obviously it's not going to reach out very far but it's a nice option to be able to look out at a distance. I can't say how accurate the zoom or anything is but the glass is decent for my needs. I'll add to my review if needed once I get the other one installed on my children's 22. But I don't expect to need to. Although I can shoot farther so maybe.
For 20 bucks? Nah - you’re doubtfully gonna beat it. I added a few pictures of it on my Airsoft M4, including a picture (the best I could do) of the reticle.
The scope mounts that came with it are nice - thumb screws for tightening onto your rail. The illuminated reticle works great, and doesn’t draw much current - I’ve left it on several times overnight and the battery has yet to need replacement.
Only downside that I could find is that the windage adjustment seems to have a mind of its own. Reticle seems to not move as much as it should when making adjustments. Elevation adjustment gave me no problems.
Again - great little scope for a pellet, BB, or Airsoft rifle. Can’t beat it for $20.

Great scope, I thought I would buy an inexpensive scope to put on one of my airguns and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this scope. clear thru the full range of magnification and has a feature I really like is the lighted reticules. Shooting in low light is a problem for me (64 years of age and diabetes) so this feature is magnificent. Would put on of these scopes on my big center fires.
Still going to sight in. Mounted easy with my old mounts. The ones that came with it were too wide to fit my Marlin M60 .22 LR. Description is incorrect it did not come with scope cover as pictured, it came with pop up end caps which was a grateful surprise. Now I don't have to order them unless I decide to get quick open type. The ones that came with it are manual open not push button.
So far it is a great scope for the money and my use on a Daisy air rifle, simple to adjust to zero and very accurate which was a good surprise considering how inexpensive it is.
The red and green scope highlight choices makes this even a better value!
The only thing is that for my smaller air rifle rail I needed to buy additional brackets that would work, which are very inexpensive still making this scope a great value.
I bought the NcStar 1" ring 3/8" Dovetail-High brackets here on Amazon which were if I remember where arond 6 bucks
I put the scope on my 6.5 mm Grendel with a 24 inch barrel. I did mount it with two screw heavy scope rings. Not the Single screw rings that come with the optic... I’m hitting SUB one MOA groups at 100 meters... over 100 rounds and it still holding zero. The pictures speak for themselves. It is not an $800 optic but for $23 it is really impressive
I recommend this scope highly ..its An excellent scope for a crossbow or air rifle for $19.99 because the recticle can calculate drop ...decent quality ...it came with a set of see through picatinny rings lens caps and a rubber eyepiece tube thing
