I have put about 100 rounds through a 9 mm carbine and it has performed well and stayed tight.
As you can see in the video there is nominal parallax.
Pros:
- Minimal parallax (the further out you go the more shift)
- Works with low profile rifles
- Okay for broad daylight
- Lightweight
- Clear optics
Cons:
- No auto-off
This is the SAME EXACT sight as the Dagger Defense sight, but 1/2 the price! Product comes with the same exact instructions, is the same exact demensions, made with the same materials, has all the same recticles, etc! If you are considering buying the Dagger Defense red/green dot sight, save your money and buy this product instead!
Won't hold zero after couple shots on a .22 rifle.
( YES it was securely mounted by me and I've been handling and sighting firearms for 50 years)
Don't know if defective or just JUNK... Guess price too good to be true!
Thankfully Amazon Prime did a painless return/refund.
Won't order this item again.
UPDATE-------->
Seller reached out and sent me free replacement after being refunded.
New one installed on same .22 rifle and sighted in.
I shot 75 rounds and it remains zeroed in.
1st one must have been defective.
HOPEFULLY this one stays good and stays sighted.
I'm upgrading my original rating to a 4 star because seller reached out, MADE IT RIGHT and seems to care about products it sells.
This reflex sight is pretty good so far for the money. I have this mounted on an AR-15 and not only does it look good in my humble opinion, but it performs well also. I took this to the range for the first time today and after about 10 rounds I was in the bullseye at 50 yards. It has a windage adjustment screw on the side that clicks when you turn it, letting you keep track of how many clicks left or right you went. The elevation adjustment screw is on top and for some reason does not have the same audible click that the aforementioned screw has. Don't know if this is my particular model or if this is endemic to all of them. But you should be able to adjust this fairly easily if you have prior experience with other types of optics. And honestly, for 22.99 it isn't a deal breaker.
The sight has two different colors, red and green, and 4 types of reticles. A dot, a crosshair, a bullseye style dot inside of a circle and a cross hair/bullseye combination. It attaches to any standard picatinny rail via two Allen screws. I noticed no wobble or loosening during or after firing. It came packaged nicely inside a foam lined hard box with two Allen wrenches and zeroing instructions.
Overall, I am satisfied with this purchase and can recommend it to others, especially shooters on a budget. I'm sure there are better sights out there, but for my money this one will do just fine.
This thing is awesome. Seems heavy and we'll made. The retical is easily seen even in broad daylight. Great addition to my tactical shotgun. Very happy with this brand and product thus far.

Works remarkably well mounted to my 12 ga. Sighted in via bore sight.
Shot lots of slugs (3-inch shells), buck and bird-shot in my first session; no drift issues. We'll see how it works over time, but the price was right, Reticle selection works great, plenty of brightness, and the batteries are easy to find.
Will update my review if it falls apart later, but so far so good -- especially at this price
I knew before purchasing this holographic sight that the locking screw had to be loose before attempting to to zero in the wind-age & elevation. The directions that came with this sight never mentioned this. If adjustments are attempted while the locking screw is tighten down the locking screw can be damaged. The locking screw on the sight I received was stripped upon receiving it. I would recommend anyone buying this sight to make sure the locking screw works before mounting on a gun & to make sure the locking screw isn't tighten down while adjusting the wind-age & elevation. This last fact should be stated in the DIRECTIONS, which it's not!! Amazon did full reimbursement including shipping cost which I appreciated.
Update: Banyan Imports sent another one of these sights at no cost. They asked if I would try the sight & provide an update to my previous review. I received the sight & everything work on it, including the locking screw. I have taken the sight to the range twice. I zeroed in the sight which has held so far. The sight is well made and for what it cost I don't think one could find a better sight. It's not a top of line sight but it's accurate & functions very well, again for the cost you can't beat it. I would've given the sight 5 stars but didn't for two reasons. First, the directions still don't state that the locking screw must be loose before making any adjustments to the wind-age & elevation. Second, I've have limited range time with the sight so I don't truly know about it's durability & if it will continuously hold zero (which I believe it will). I would like to thank the seller Banyan Imports for full refund on the 1st sight sent & for sending the replacement sight at no cost to me. They are truly a reputable company.
I am unbelievably impressed with this. For ~$25ish bucks, I'm absolutely blown away. The different reticles are very crisp and easy to see, and the adjustable brightness is great for different conditions. The glass is nice and clear, and has a nice silvered look from the front. I can't tell for sure if it's perfectly parallax corrected (the aim point seems to move slightly if you look from extreme angles) but it's very close, and the sweet spot is wide enough.
What I'm most amazed about is the construction quality though. It was well packaged, the machining on the metal looks fantastic, the knobs and switches all feel smooth and well made, the glass is nice and clean, and the dots are crisp. I've seen products for three times the price that were nowhere near as well made.
The only thing I do wish was different would be to change the brightness knob to instead adjust the elevation settings. Especially on an airgun where the pellets drop significantly at different distances, being able to click it more conveniently would be a huge improvement. While the elevation and windage adjustments do work fine, it's pretty much a set-it-and-forget-it thing. However, considering the price, you might as well just get two of them and set each one for a different range.
Still, I'm incredibly pleased with this product. I'd be happy even at twice the price.
This is an excellent sight for its price range. I use this with an AR-15 (M-4 style) in .22LR. The sight is easy to zero, holds zero, with no variation in zero when switching between reticles. The wide range of intensity settings is a real plus. Mount is the right height for co-witness with AR-15 iron sights. Is it as good as higher priced sights? No, but this does very well for a MUCH lower price. There is one point to note. If you have some astigmatism, you may need to wear corrective lenses when using this sight. Otherwise (as I noticed) there may be a slight double image. I have 20/20+ far vision, with slight astigmatism. I do not normally wear my glasses for far vision, and I do not notice any blurring with other (higher priced) reflex sights. It is a minor inconvenience and the Pinty reflex sight is a great value for an economical/training rifle. If I had the opportunity to reconsider my purchase, I would not hesitate in staying with this sight for this purpose.
It's a nice sight with a decent field of view all in one small package. However, the green/red "Dot" has a lot of straying. It's perfect for someone who plans on shooting no further than 100 yards accurately.
