PrePaid Europe (UK THREE) sim card 5GB data+3000 minutes+3000 texts for 30 days with FREE ROAMING / USE in 71 destinations including all European countries

As suggested, we tested this card in the U.S. before leaving for Europe. We selected AT&T in our area as the network (there was no guidance that came with the SIM card - we just took a guess), and that checked out fine. We received a text welcoming us to the U.S. and also told us to accept a few setup changes in our phone, which we did without any problem.

Our first stop in Europe was Switzerland, and upon inserting the SIM card and choosing SWISSCOM, the card kicked in immediately, with a text message welcoming to Switzerland. The card worked the entire time we were in the country without any problem.

In Italy, our next stop, things were slightly different. The network that paired with this card was Wind, which again was not mentioned anywhere with the card's instruction, but since no other networks worked, it was easy to figure out that this was the right one in that country for this card.

For whatever the reason, however, in order for the card to work in Italy, we always had to make certain that the Wi-Fi was completely switched off in our phone. If the Wi-Fi was turned on and even if our phone was not using any Wi-Fi hotspot, we could not access the internet via the cellular network. This was the case even though the phone indicated that the roaming mode, which is required for this card, was properly functioning. It took us a while to figure out this behavior, which did not happen at all while in Switzerland.

When the card was working, the speed was almost always at 4G, throttling down to 3G only occasionally and then in the non-urban areas.

Even though there were above-mentioned glitches, we would probably buy this card again the next time we travel to Europe.

I ordered this SIM card for a trip to Germany, Italy, Spain and back to Germany. The card included more than enough talk and text time and I figured enough data for the duration of the trip. I activated the card in the US and hoped it would work as I arrived in Germany although I was not sure what to expect. When I arrived in Germany, the phone I bought for the trip literally died upon arrival. I bought a new phone in Germany andinstalled the SIM card and voila, it picked up a signal, started up the data and I was good to go. As I travelled to Italy, Spain and back to Germany, the Sim card connected with a local wireless provider upon arrival. Connection was always good and it turned out the data was more than sufficient for the 2 week trip (I used it to check email, read the news, searched for travel and other info, as well as used Google map for driving and walking directions, but kept video watching to a bare minimum). This was a great value and I will consider purchasing a prepaid SIM card from this provider again.

We bought two of this for our Italy trip in June 2018. It works very well during the entire trip. After the first insert SIM card to my Apple iPhone in Rome, it sent me a message saying waiting till it is activated. Then after half an hour, I got the message to restart my phone and there we go!!! I only used this phone to call my husband who has another UK three SIM card. We used a lot of 5G data to surf social media and google map. Worked perfectly!!!! Will recommend it to everyone who travels to Europe.

I bought this for my trip to London to be able to get around with maps and keep in contact with family and friends who are iPhone users in the US while away. It was perfect. Activated and registered the card before I left to make sure all of the data was loaded and then popped the sim card back in the phone when I landed. Worked perfectly on my verizon iPhone 7 plus, wouldn't hesitate to buy again before a European trip.

In the past I have bought a sim card at the airport in whatever country I was visiting. Prices and amount of data were all over the place, plus the service was always in the local language, making texts from the supplier difficult or impossible to understand. I bought this item from Amazon this fall and used it for a 17-day trip to Belgium and France. It worked in each country and during a transfer in Dublin. No problems other than it took an hour or more for the service to be re-established after crossing a border.

I put it in my phone the day before I left, followed directions, and the next morning I was in business. Instructions are clear. I will buy this for my next trip if it is available. In addition to using email and browser, I use it with Google Maps and similar apps, and it was always available. (I did download local maps in U.S. before I left, just in case.) Like many or most of these sim cards, it doesn't give you actual telephone service, as far as I can tell, but you can use Skype to get around that. I usually just ask a local, e.g., a hotel clerk, to make a call if needed.

Greatest thing EVER!!! I left for Italy on 29Sept18, put the chip in my 6S IPhone, called for an UBER once in Italy...
Arrived in Slovenia, called to make sure my rental car was ready for pick up. Used my Google map to visit Croatia. Call Slovenia from Croatia to make a hotel reservation. I will never travel without it.

I was in Finland, Sweden, Germany, Italy, and France and this phone worked perfectly in all these places. The data connection was sometimes choppy but I guess that was because I was traveling in a train or the location wasn't that great within the city.

Data plan worked only in London, Amsterdam , Prague , France and Switz . Had some issue in Prague and called Customer support and they advised to enable roaming and worked. No response of the email though in 24 hrs and had to call. But this was very handy...

I installed this sim card on my factory unlocked iPhone 7, and got connections to 3G networks in London, Paris and Barcelona. I would have given a 5 star rating if I got 4G LTE connections because my iPhone 7 should be able to connect to 4G LTE connections in the cities that I visited.

easy to use. I use the data plan to check map, listen to music, communicate with friends on the same trip.
must have for European vacation
